Wilmington-based nCino, a leader in cloud banking, has brought on Jeff Babka as chief financial officer.
 
Babka brings more than 40 years of experience in financial and operational management with a specific focus in the technology and software industries.
 
“With Jeff, we have found the ideal CFO to bring nCino to the next phase of our growth and evolution,” said Pierre Naudé, CEO of nCino, in a news release. “His experience, leadership and expertise will be instrumental as we prepare to enter our fifth year and continue working to achieve our mission of transforming financial services through innovation, reputation and speed.”
 
Prior to joining nCino, Babka was a venture partner at Insight Venture Partners, a global private equity firm. In this role, he worked with Insight’s portfolio company executives to drive operating efficiency and process improvement in their business and maximize returns for their investors in both public market and private liquidity events, the release stated. Previously, he was CFO of Applied Predictive Technologies, the world’s largest purely cloud-based predictive analytics software company, which was acquired by MasterCard in 2015.
