Adam Campbell and young Ducky in CBS's 'NCIS.'

Once again, ABC’s comedies are celebrating a holiday together — so if you’re not a fan of holiday themes, you might want to take a holiday yourself. Tuesday's Christmas party starts on The Middle (8 ET/PT), which finds Sue trying to keep a secret (one the episode’s title may give away, so avoid it if you don’t want to know). It continues on American Housewife (8:30 ET/PT), where Katy’s holiday spirit is tested; and Fresh Off the Boat (9 ET/PT), where Marvin has a Christmas Carol revelation. Then it wraps up on The Real O’Neals (9:30 ET/PT), which finds Kenny losing a choir solo but possibly gaining a boyfriend (Sean Grandillo).

NCIS
CBS, 8 ET/PT

NCIS is celebrating the holiday with a Ducky-centric episode, which is like two presents in one. Of course, this fall finale is not a particularly happy outing for Ducky, not when evidence in a murder is linked to his dead mother (which explains Adam Campbell's return as Young Ducky).

Bull
CBS, 9 ET/PT

Bull also confronts his past, when his latest case draws him back to his childhood home. Perhaps while there, he can contemplate ways to be less gratingly smug while his show tries to come up with a few plots that don’t use computer hacking as a magic get-out-of-writer's-jail-free card.
