Yogi B-Anirudh team up for Ajith's 57th film

After seven long years, popular hip-hop singer Yogi B returns to Tamil cinema for Ajith���s film, as of now called AK57, being directed by Siva. The movie also has Kajal Aggarwal, Akshara Haasan and Vivek Oberoi. This is Yogi���s first collaboration with composer Anirudh. A source reveals, ���Yogi was very happy to collaborate with Anirudh and so are the makers.They have already recorded the song.���
Anirudh tweeted, ���After a gap of 7 years, the father of Tamil hip-hop @iamyogib is back for #AK57.��� (sic) To which Yogi B responded, ���Im sincerely thankful to you brother fr the awesome music that was a high to rhyme on. Nandri for the opportunity. Nandri all.#AK57 it is!��� (sic)
Yogi B and his team Emcee Jezz and Dr Burn sang their first Kollywood song, Happy New Year, composed by Vidyasagar, for the movie Kuruvi. Their next was Engeyum Eppothum for the movie Polladhavan. The singer has also worked with AR Rahman for Boom Boom Robo Da for the movie Enthiran.
