The Telugu remake of Malayalam hit Premam (2015) is now being remade in Telugu with Naga Chaitanya and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles. The latest we hear is that the crew has postponed the dates of the audio launch and the release. The makers had planned to unveil the audio by August 24 and release it on September 9.
However, we learn that the film will hit the theatres by Dussehra. The audio might be launched on September 20, on the birth anniversary of the late actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao.
Sources also add, “Director Chandoo Mondeti reworked the script to suit the Telugu audience. The team has wrapped up shooting and the post-production is also going on at a fast pace.”
The makers have already released the first audio song Evare, by Vijay Yesudas and Srimani, which has been one of the chartbusters. The video of the song will be released today (Nagarjuna’s birthday).
