ATHANI:The Education Department has decided to investigate the alleged physical fight between two teachers of a government high school in Adahalli in front of schoolchildren.
School headmaster C M Hukumanal allegedly physically assaulted assistant teacher Mahesh Dandagi in the school on Saturday as the latter objected the school peon sending another woman for work.
Athani Block Education officer M B Bajantri said she would look into the issue as all these days she was busy with the Legislature session.
The school woman peon, a group IV employee, who appointed by the government, has been allegedly sending another person to work on her behalf.
The schoolstudents, who were stunned after witnessing the brawl, went back to their village and informed people
about it.
