Vying for top honours players show composure, promise

JAMMU, Dec 11: Payers while sweating-it-out and showing composure, classs, promise and grit while vying for the top honours in the ongoing 65th All India Police Hockey Championship 2016, being played at KK Hakku Astro Turf Stadium and Jammu University Ground, here.
In Pool “A”  ITBP won the match against Uttarakhand by 2-1 and both the goals from ITBP were scored by Jasvinder Singh whereas the alone goal from Uttarakhand was scored by  Amit Aswal.
In Pool “E” match, which was played at University Ground, Manipur won the match by defeating Madhya Pradesh. From Manipur team, each goal was scored by P. Jupiter, Th.Brigit, Shanti Kumar and N.Shanti while Rais Ahmed of Madhya Pradesh scored the single goal for his team.
In another match of Pool “C” CRPF team defeated Gujarat Police team by 14-0. Bikash Khajuria of CRPF scored 5 goals whereas Jaswant Trikey, Ignacius Toppo and Javid Ahmed of CRPF scored two goals each.
In Pool “D” match, which was played between BSF and SSB, BSF defeated SSB by a margin of 5-1 and Ranjit Singh of BSF scored three goals.
In pool “B” match, Maharashtra defeated Rajasthan by 15-0 and Vinod Nibrore of Maharashtra Police scored 6 goals whereas Prithvi Raj of the same team scored three goals.
In Pool “F”, match was won by Tamil Nadu defeating Chandigarh by a margin of 4-0 and Moriya Stalin of Tamil Nadu scored two goals.
In Pool “G”, the match was won by J&K by defeating Pondicherry by a margin of 20-0 goals, Sikinder Paul Singh of J&K Police scored 7 goals, Jaspreet Singh 4 goals, Surinder Singh 2 goals, Sumit Paul Singh 2 goals and Manjeet Singh scored 2 goals.
In Pool “A”, the match was won by Jharkhand Police by defeating RPF by 2-0 goals. Soma Henbrom and Robart Dodray both scored one goal each.
In Pool “B”, the match was won by Punjab Police defeating Rajasthan Police by a margin of 22-1  goals. Sarabjit Singh scored 4 goals whereas Olympian Gurbaj Singh scored two goals and six goals were scored by Jagmeet Singh.
In Pool “F”, the match was won by CISF defeating Chandigarh Police by a margin of 9-0. Prince Kerketta scored 02 goals while Adnan waseem scored 02 goals.
In Pool “E”, the match was won by Odisha defeating Madhya Pradesh by margin  of 5-0 goals. Sushil Kujur scored 2 goals while Walters Kulla, Bikas Barla and Sudhir Barla scored one goal each.
