Reports: Boston Celtics receive bomb threat en route to Oklahoma City

USA TODAY Sports
Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens talks with Boston Celtics center Al Horford (42) and forward Jae Crowder (99) and guard Avery Bradley (0) during the first half against the Sacramento Kings at TD Garden.

The Boston Celtics learned of a bomb threat to their plane while flying to Oklahoma City on Saturday night, but the team arrived without incident, according to MassLive.

After landing in Oklahoma City, both the plane and luggage were searched while the players were taken away by a bus. Everything was "all fine," a team spokesperson reiterated to the outlet.

The incident will reportedly be investigated by the NBA with help from the FBI.

The Celtics (13-10) face the Thunder (14-9) on Sunday night.
