Six injured as tipper collides with cars in Dhading

KATHMANDU: Six people were injured after a tipper collided with two cars at once in Gajuri of Dhading, on Saturday.

The tipper (Ba 4 Kha 2007) was travelling from Galchhi to Gajuri of Dhading when it collided with the cars (Ba 13 Cha 6995 and Ba 16 Cha 2299) en route to Pokhara from Kathmandu.

According to police, the six injured, including the driver of the car (Ba 13 Cha 6995), are being treated at the Norvic International Hospital in Kathmandu.

Police have impounded the tipper and arrested its driver.

Meanwhile, five people were injured when a bus (Lu 1 Kha 8789) met with an accident in Gajuri of Dhading on Saturday morning.

The accident occurred as the bus was travelling on a high speed, police said.

Two of the injured are being treated at B&B Hospital while three others are at Garjuri Hospital.
