JALALABAD: Punjab deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal, on Saturday, castigated the Congress and said the “destructive rule“ of the party had a severe impact on the developmental parameters of Punjab. On the other hand, he said, the SAD-BJP alliance has brought about a wave of development and prosperity during the past nine years. He said people of Punjab knew the difference between right and wrong.

Meanwhile, speaking at a function in Ludhiana's Halwara, chief minister Parkash Singh Badal said AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal co uld not even “differentiate between wheat and paddy“ because he was not aware of the basics of the state.
Badal said Kejriwal's repeated utterances that SAD and Congress being hand-inglove “reflects that he not only has scant knowledge about Punjab's geology and topography but also about its polity“.
