Repair to Tillu, Minthar roads demanded

SADIQABAD-The alleged indifference on the part of public representatives and departments concerned has left Tillu and Minthar roads in deteriorated condition.
Renowned industrialist and former adviser to the premier Ch Mazhar Mehmood Sattar said that both the roads are in dilapidated condition and causing multiple problems for the transporters using the roads for transportation of goods across the country. “Every year, we pay tax for using roads but the administration and public representatives have never bothered to take any step for their repair,” he regretted.
He demanded the public representatives and departments concerned to ensure repair to these roads, warning that people from all adjacent villages will be forced to stage protest otherwise.
Extra-curricular stressed: The extra-curricular activities are crucial for better grooming of children as they create a competitive environment among students which prepare them for facing the challenges to be come in their future life.
Assistant Education Officer Rana Usman Ghani stated while addressing a prize distribution ceremony of Urdu-English essay writing competition here the other day. The competition was held here at Goth Jora among the students of primary schools under the supervision of AEO Rana Usman.
According to results, Noorul Hassan of Govt Elementary School got first position, Dewan Ji of Primary School Chak 8/NP clinched second while Muhammad Saqib stood at third position in English essay writing competition. In Urdu essay writing, Youn Ji first, Dewan Ji second and Ahmed Din got third position respectively.
On the occasion, Mr Usman praised Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif for introducing essay writing competition in schools.
