It was a cool Wednesday evening in Amsterdam, early July, when Fionnuala McCormack decided she'd had enough.
For so many years, the two-time European Cross-Country champion had kept her counsel when asked about the issues plaguing her sport, not wanting to lay blame at anyone else's door if she fell short of a medal, even at times when it was clear she'd been the victim of a doped-up heist in broad daylight.
