KANPUR: Taking a pot shot at
Congress vice-president
Rahul Gandhi, Union minister of State Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (Independent Charge),
Rajiv Pratap Rudy, on Friday, said that he (Rahul Gandhi) should debate inside Parliament rather than making statements in public over demonetization.
“There is a mike where he sits in Parliament and the only thing one has to do is to switch it on and speak, which he never does and makes statements on demonetization in public to ensure his presence in media,” said Rudy further while supervising the arrangements at the railway ground in view of prime minister
Narendra Modi’s proposed rally on December 19.
The minister further said that during 2014
Lok Sabha elections,
BJP in it’s manifesto had mentioned about ‘black money’. “Our PM had taken a very bold and courageous step to eradicate black money. Even, people have welcomed the PM’s move saying that it was a historic decision,” said Rudy further.
“The historic decision of demonetisation will surely benefit common man and poors,” he said.
