2017 Bajaj Pulsar Series Officially Revealed
Bajaj Auto has officially revealed the 2017 range of Pulsar motorcycles.
Bajaj Auto has finally revealed the 2017 range of Pulsar motorcycles. Although the details about the 2017 Pulsar series was revealed earlier, the wait was for the official announcement.
Bajaj has confirmed that the new Pulsar models are updated to meet the new BS IV emission norms that are set to kick in by April 2017. Apart from that there are no major changes on the 2017 Pulsars.
The 2017 Pulsar series also misses out on the Automatic Headlamp On and ABS feature, but it is expected that the higher Pulsar motorcycles will be equipped with these features. The new Pulsar range of motorcycles have been revealed through the images uploaded on the official website.
Bajaj is offering a new blue colour option which is called as Laser Edge Pulsar's and it carries the same decal design as the regular colour schemes.
The motorcycle to get major changes in the design department is the Pulsar 135 LS. The motorcycle is not performing well in the domestic market but it is doing well in the foreign markets.
Cost cutting is evident on the Pulsar 135 LS, as the split seats have been replaced by single piece seat, split grab rails are absent and the revised instrument cluster is not that good.
The 2017 Pulsar 180 gets a rear disc brake as standard. The Pulsar 220F is back with the fuel injected setup but misses on the improved performance. It is said that the new range of Pulsar are much more refined compared to the current models.
But the Pulsar 150 does not get the updated BS IV engine and the reason behind this move is unknown. It is expected that Bajaj may launch the 150cc BS IV engine later next year.
