The US Air Force Life Cycle Management Center has placed an order with Raytheon Missile Systems for Griffin A Block /III missiles.

The contract worth $24.99m will see Raytheon supply Griffin A Block /III weapons for the US Air Force until December next year.

United Launch Services LLC has secured a $269.23m-worth contract to provide launch vehicle production services for the Delta IV Heavy LV rocket launcher.

"The upgraded AN/ALQ-131 ECM pods are intended to improve air defence capabilities of the F-16 aircraft."

Awarded by the US Space and Missile Systems Center, the contract is scheduled to be completed in April 2020.

Northrop Grumman Corporation has secured a contract to modernise the AN/ALQ-131 electronic countermeasure (ECM) pods of the F-16 fighter aircraft operational with the Royal Netherlands Air Force.

The upgraded AN/ALQ-131 ECM pods are intended to improve air defence capabilities of the F-16 aircraft.

Germany-based Rheinmetall and US-based Day & Zimmermann have launched a joint venture for the production of medium-calibre ammunition for the US market.

The new joint venture, named Rheinmetall, Day & Zimmermann Munitions, is based in Rosslyn, Virginia, US.
