The Leidos Company has received a giant US Air Force contract worth more than a third of a billion dollars to integrate joint planning systems for NATO and 27 allied nations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia, the US Department of Defense announced.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The contract involves foreign military sales to Australia, Belgium, Canada, Chile, Denmark, Egypt, France, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Korea, Morocco, the Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia and Singapore as well as NATO, the announcement stated.

"Leidos [of] Reston, Virginia, has been awarded a $350 million… contract for Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) engineering integration," the Defense Department said in the announcement on Thursday.

Leidos will also supply the systems for joint planning to the armed forces of Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom, the announcement added.
