Health Canada has issued a recall for a meat smoker that can pose a fire hazard.

The organization said this can occur when the smoker’s gas hose disconnects, which can cause a fire.

The Masterbuilt 7-in-1 smoker comes in green or stainless steel and has a Cabela's logo, or black with a Masterbuilt logo

There were 1,151 sold, between April 2011 and October 2016, at Cabela’s stores across Canada and on the Amazon website.

Neither Health Canada, nor Masterbuilt, has received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of the smokers in Canada.

Masterbuilt has received five reports in the United States of the gas hose becoming disconnected during use, including one report of property damage from a fire. However, they said there have been no reports of injuries.

Health Canada advises that consumers should immediately stop using the recalled smoker and contact Masterbuilt for a free replacement rubber LP gas hose.
