Rockstar Games will be perplexed to know that "Red Dead Redemption 2" did not do well in its release - if fans of the game failed to check out Playstation Store's website which accidentally posted that the the sequel will be released on Nov. 23 this year. Fans can wait for the PC version instead if the developers grants their petition.

Mistyped "Red Dead Redemption 2" Release Date On PlayStation Store

Luckily, Sony just made a typo on the release date of the 2010 western blockbuster as seen on this screen capture. There is no change on the original release date, "Red Dead Redemption 2" is still slated to be released in Fall 2017 and will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The tech giant recently released the first trailer, giving its fans an interesting peek at what to expect in the next installment of the game. It teases a steam train, never before seen in the first "Red Dead Redemption." The main characters are presented as well, surrounded by stunning cinema-quality graphics. The trailer can be viewed below:

Previously, there are theories that the next outlaw adventure is a prequel. Kotaku revealed last October that John Marson, the protagonist of the game, sports a different holster and is missing his famous mutton chops.

Petition For "Red Dead Redemption 2" On PC

There has been an online petition via Change.Org to release "Red Dead Redemption 2" on PC. As of writing, the petition collected 47,332 signatures already. A good number since it only needs 2,800 signatures to reach its target. The letter states, "Please do not deprive us of enjoying your beautiful games, as you did with Red Dead Redemption (2010). The petitioner adds, "This will be an injustice to your fans if you do not bring Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC this time."
