Get discounts on Shanxi tourist spots by taking the local high-speed

The South Railway Station in Taiyuan, capital of Shanxi province, has announced that anyone buying a ticket there for the Datong-Xi'an High-speed Railway line (Shanxi to Shaanxi province) can get some great discounts on the province's tourism spots, starting June 8.

The tourist destinations taking part the promotion event mainly center around the cities of Yuncheng, Linfen, and Jizhong, where any train ticket holder can get a discount on an entry ticket within three days of the ticket date, with as much as a 60-percent discount.
