Lisa Haydon-starrer web series, The Trip has a ZNMD-vibe and looks promising AF

Come December 15, and Disney India's youth entertainment channel, Bindass has a super-cool gift for all its young and peppy viewers. It has come up with a web series called The Trip which chronicles the story of four closely-knit girl friends who set out on a crazy bachelorette trip. The trailer of the series is out and is already making a lot of rounds.

Right from the first scene, the director sets the tone for what's coming ahead as the girls hoot in excitement when one of them gets hitched. The excitement goes a level up, actually a hundred levels up when the gang decides to embark on a road trip from Delhi to Bangkok. Something that most of us only dream about!

Yes, just like Zindagi Naa Milegi Dobara, it is a bacholerette trip with a generous dose of self-discovery and salt-in the-air-sand-in-my-hair beach vibe. But don't we all know that there's no comparison to an all-girls adventure trip when it comes to having fun?

However, it's not all goody goody. The plot also hints at a The-Hangover-type hiccup in their yeh-dosti-hum-nahi-todenge-type situation. But it seems that the girls emerge out of that tricky situation stronger and closer than ever.

After so many references, if you're wondering what's all that different about it, you need to ask yourself this: when was the last time you saw something with a feel-good factor, that too on the Indian small screen? You're obviously an exception if watching Mouni Roy turn into a vengeful icchadhari naagin or better still: watching Simar turn into a fly, makes you feel good about life.

Starring, Lisa Haydon and Mallika Dua amongst others, this series is definitely going on our must-watch list. Here, check out the trailer and get psyched!
