AKARTA: Starting next year, model and actress Luna Maya will take a long break from television, where she is known as a host of several variety shows, to focusing on film projects.

“I will not be involved in any TV programs next year because I want to concentrate on my film career. This year alone I have finished shooting two films which will be released soon,” the former host of variety show Pesbukers said as quoted by kapanlagi.com.

In between the production of the two films, the titles of which have not been announced, Luna worked on her clothing line Luna Habit and the promotion of Luna Maya stylish artificial eyelashes manufactured in collaboration with Lavie Lash.

“Besides the fashion business and acting, I had a go at working behind the camera as a film producer. I want to expand my career in film while there is an opportunity.”

“I know it will be hard to keep up with the schedule but I have to maintain good time management no matter how tiring it will be. I won’t break the schedule for exercise, for sure.” — JP
