Inside Yash-Radhika sangeet: The couple sizzled on the dancefloor

Held at a friend’s farmhouse on the outskirts of the city, it saw both the bride and groom’s close ones put up some memorable performances onstage. Apart from the families, actresses Adhvithi and Ashvithi Shetty danced from Radhika’s side, while Giri, Chikkanna and filmmakers K Manju and Dr Suri represented the groom’s side and rocked the stage in their own ways. Arun Sagar was the emcee for the night.The evening saw many faces from Sandalwood, including Priyanka Upendra, Ramesh Aravind, P Ravi Shankar, Achyuth Kumar, Tilak Shekar, Nenapirali Prem, Prajwal Devaraj, Vijay Raghavendra, Pannaga Bharana and Manoranjan Ravichandaran, among others.
The sangeet ceremony was followed by an open dancefloor. Radhika and her friends rocked some popular Sandalwood and Bollywood numbers, including her favourite, Aaramagiri Subbalakshmi from Bahaddur. Yash and his friends showed they were nothing less with the Rocking Star dancing to his songs like Mr & Mrs Ramachari. He also had everyone hooting when he did a Shankar Nag imitation when Santoshakke was played.
The evening had an interesting array of nibbles and treats. The cocktail menu was also specially curated with them being named after Yash and Radhika’s films and songs. The food for the night included local favourites like Bannur Mutton Biryani, Masala Vade and Thatte Idlis to Fish Fingers, Cheese Balls and the ever-so-popular Phirni.
