Rabbani Club, Kamptee, reigned supreme in the APJ

Football tournament held recently at Singhai (Lakhimpur), Uttar Pradesh.
In the summit clash, Rabbani Club squeezed past RK Steel Club, Bihar in sudden death. In the first half, Bihar team was leading 1-0.
Rabbani restored parity in the second half through their forward Fahad Junaid.
Both the teams tried hard for the decisive lead but in vain.
In tie-breaker too, the deadlock could not be broken as both the teams were leveled 4-4. Alfaiz, Faisal, Junaid and Musheer Reyas converted their spot kicks for Rabbani. In sudden death, Shakeeb Anwar hammered the perfect shot to lead Rabbani to triumph.
Rabbani Club received cash prize of Rs 51,000. Musheer Reyaz was adjudged as best player of the tournament.
President of Rabbani Club Suresh Bhoyar and others have congratulated the victorious players.
Earlier also Rabbani Club did well in several state and All India football tournaments and brought laurels to the region.
