PUCL)
National convention will be held in
state capitalRaipur from December 16.
More than 300 delegates, including rights activists from across the state, will attend the three days convention which will discuss various issues pertaining to civil rights and human rights violations in many states.
Lawyer Sudha Bharadwaj said the 14th national convention will be held at Ashirvad Bhawan.
Former chief justice of Delhi High Court Justice Rajendra Sachchar will be present at the conference.
Besides Justice Sachchar, outgoing PUCL president Prabhakar Sinha and Ravikiran Jain, vice president of PUCL, will address the convention.
There will be discussions about the future campaigns and action plan of PUCL besides discussing in details the situation of human rights, Naxalism and other social issues.
