The purchase of many novelty drugs is moving online, making their sale harder to track and posing a new threat, according to the University of Kansas Hospital Poison Control Centre.
"For the longest time, drugs were sold on street corners and things like that. Well, now they are distributed over the Internet. People call it the 'grey market,'" said Dr Stephen Thornton, medical director for the University of Kansas Hospital Poison Control Centre.
