Steven Adams comments on medical marijuana.

The Oklahoma City Thunder's Steven Adams is one of the most quotable players in the NBA, so of course he was asked if he has any thoughts about marijuana usage in pro sports.

The conversation in the league started with Steve Kerr saying that he tried using marijuana to treat his chronic back pain and that he believes pro athletes should be able to use it in place of addictive painkillers like Vicodin. Then, Phil Jackson said that he smoked marijuana to deal with his back surgery as a player.

Adams didn't have a strong opinion about whether or not players should be able to use medical marijuana, but he did crack jokes and was his funny self.

Adams said:

"I don't now. I haven't researched it that much … I'm not a doctor, mate. The only thing I know is dudes just want to go to another world. Take that guy and it'll help get their mind off it. That's all I know. In terms of medical, no idea, mate. I would stick to prescription if the doctor prescribes it."

A reporter then told him that in some states, doctors can prescribe medical marijuana to which Adam jokingly replied, "Who's doctor's this? Where's that doctor?"

About Kerr and Jackson's marijuana use, Adams said, "I assume that they probably enjoyed themselves."
