PHDCCI district office inaugurated

Amritsar: Deputy Commissioner Basant Garg today inaugurated the district office of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI). Regional Director of the PHDDCI, Parveen Rathee, was also present on the occasion. Rathee said the office would become a voice of city-based industrialists, exporters and importers. He said the city had infrastructure to qualify into a global and business hub. “It has an international airport and bus stand, besides an integrated check post to facilitate international trade through Pakistan, further Afghanistan and Central Asian countries,” he added. — TNS
