We Are At The Heart Of Sambisa Forest – Nigerian Military Declares

BEVERLY HILLS, December 07, (THEWILL) – The Nigerian military has revealed that the war against Boko Haram insurgents is in its final phase as troops are presently at the heart of Sambisa, the operational base of the terrorists group.

Briefing newsmen in Maiduguri, the head of the Nigeria’s counter-insurgency operation in the North- East – Operation Lafiya Dole, Maj. Gen. Lucky Irabor, claimed that the insurgents are in total disarray as a result of the present military operation in Sambisa.

“Several Boko Haram terrorists were killed, while arms and ammunitions were recovered, as military finally entered the heart of Sambisa forest in the military final onslaught against Boko Haram insurgents,” he said.

“There is frustration and confusion among the various ranks and factions of Boko Haram at present.

“The Boko Haram are more confused, as the Shekau and Maman Nur factions recently clashed.

“The military has enough manpower, capacity and the equipment to crush the remnant of the insurgents in no distant time.

“The troops of Operation Lafita Dole have continued to clear several Boko Haram Terrorists (BHTs) in their hideouts and recorded huge successes, as our own troops have moved deeper into Sambisa forest on many fronts”, the commander added.

“Operation rescue finale is the continuation of operation crackdown and is aimed at rescuing all the Chibok school girls and other hostages held in Sambisa forest.

“Since the commencement of the operation his troops have continued to make progress into the heart of Sambisa forest.

“The current incursion into the Sambisa forest is on various fronts and that the days of the remnant of insurgents are numbered.

“Our troops has what it takes cleared the Sambisa forest and wherever they may be.”
