To secure better career opportunities for the students of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, the School of Management Studies in collaboration with the MSME Development Institute (MSME-DI), Jammu, launched a 10-day Entrepreneurship Development Programme on Tuesday.
The programme was organised under the aegis of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises along with special efforts by varsity Vice Chancellor Prof Javed Musarrat. “By organising such workshops the youth will not only be self-employed, but will also generate employment for others,” the VC said. Suhal Alaqband, assistant director, MSME-DI, said the main objective of the programme was to motivate the youth to go for entrepreneurship. — OC
