No doubt Misbah has been the backbone of the Pakistan batting lineup since last decade. The thing that will haunt him badly in the comparison will be the fact that he doesn’t have an ODI century to his name and that he has already hung his boots from ODIs. While Mithali has 5 centuries to her name; much to the joy of Indian fans.

Among the other top men cricketers whom Mithali beats are England’s ODI & T20 captain Eoin Morgan and Bangladeshi opener Tamim Iqbal – Mithali has more runs and better average to her name.

Tamim Iqbal is probably the best opening batsman Bangladesh has produced. Though he is always underrated by the presence of Shakib-al-Hasan. He has been in stunning form in recent years but still lags behind Mithali by 400 odd runs.

Eoin Morgan, the England ODI & T20 skipper, originally from Ireland has seen a drop in form of late, but overall his stats are quite impressive.

This despite the fact that in In India, women’s cricket is not considered as seriously as men’s cricket. Thus, it lacks the deserved attention and adulation both from the cricket management and fans. Mithali has proved all wrong by having remarkable records to her name that these batsmen have struggled to achieve.
