The Supreme Court on Wednesday allowed the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to spend Rs 1.33 crore for conducting the last two cricket Test matches of the ongoing India-England series.

A Bench headed by Chief Justice TS Thakur passed the order on a plea by BCCI whose funds were frozen by the apex court for not implementing the reforms directed by it.

The Bench also allowed BCCI to draw funds for the Twenty-20 and one-day series with England in January-February 2017.
