Rekha to play 43-year-old Poorna Jagannath’s daughter in Tamil comeback?

Rekha made her acting debut in Telugu film, Rangula Ratnam, in 1966.

Veteran Bollywood actor Rekha is making a comeback on the silver screen. But before you get all excited, we must tell you that her comeback film is not Hindi but Tamil. After making her debut with a Telugu film Rangula Ratnam in 1966, she will be seen heading back to her roots after almost half a century. According to the sources, Rekha will appear in director Surya’s thriller-suspense film.

Ever since the news of her comeback emerged, her fans have been in a celebratory mood but the makers are yet to confirm the news. Apparently, the 43-year-old actor Poorna Jagannath will be playing the role of Rekha’s mother in the film. According to reports, Poorna has already started the shoot for her part and is extremely excited to share the screen space with the veteran actor, which she says is nothing less than a dream come true for her.

The actor said she will shoot for scenes with Rekha in January and that the film will showcase three generations. And in one of the generations, Rekha would portray the role of Poorna’s daughter. While in a retro segment of the film, Poorna will play the role of Rekha’s mother, in another segment she will play a young interior designer. What will be exciting is to see how both the actors will be pulling off their respective roles.

Recently, in an award show, Rekha stole the limelight from every top actor of today’s generation.
