Images show moment truck burst into flames on Irish main street

The incident happened on Main Street in Lisnaskea on Monday evening.

Local man Owen Mooney who lives on the street where it happened, told the Irish News: "I'd seen the lorry stopped on the street with its hazard lights on and assumed it had broken down or there had been some sort of collision or something.

"Then within three, four minutes the whole cab was on fire... when (the driver) stopped to check where the smoke was coming from, he saw flames underneath the lorry," he said.

The fire caused damage to overhead power lines and several properties in the area.
