Releases additional performance accessories, including new 0.6mm Stainless Steel nozzle, for faster print times, and draft shields.

San Leandro, CA (PRWEB) December 07, 2016

Type A Machines®, the market leader in manufacturing-ready Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) 3D printers, today announced the Series 1 Pro™ Enterprise Bundle, featuring an industry-first Tungsten Carbide hot-end, and BuildTak® FlexPlate System™. Dramatically increasing hot end durability, while speeding time between print jobs.

"For our industrial and makerspace 3D printing customers, time is money. Having a printer non-operational in order to change hot-ends, or remove a print, means lost revenue and productivity, not to mention the time and expense associated with replacement parts," said Type A Machines Chief Marketing Officer and VP, Shawn Hopwood. "With our new Enterprise Bundle, we've increased reliability and machine uptime by bringing together one of the hardest, most wear resistant materials known to the industry, while partnering with a leader in the industry to make 3D printing quick and simple."

The Series 1 Pro Enterprise bundle is designed for heavy-use printing, and customers seeking maximum machine print time, such as makerspaces, industrial prototyping shops, print farms, education labs, and service bureaus. The new Enterprise bundle provides increased durability and ease-of-use for the parts most typically exposed to wear and tear from heavy printer use - the hot-end and build platform. By leveraging the hardness of Tungsten Carbide, customers can expect to see the longest nozzle uptimes in the industry - enabling longer periods of continuous use.

BuildTak FlexPlate System - Simple Print Release System
The Series 1 Pro's fast-heating 360W cubic-foot build platform leverages the BuildTak FlexPlate System, a two part system featuring a magnetic mounting base and a BuildTak surfaced flexPlate which together takes the hassle out of platform preparation and print removal.

With the magnetic mounting base and BuildTak FlexPlate installed users can immediately begin printing. Once a print is finished, simply detach the FlexPlate from the magnetic mounting base and flex the plate back and forth to pop prints off. Once cleared the surface is then ready for re-use.

The BuildTak Surface
BuildTak is an adhesive-backed sheet that creates an optimal bond between the 3D printed object and build surface. The adhesion of the surface maximizes the chances an object will be held in place for the duration of the print while enabling clean and easy removal of the object from the build surface. The use of BuildTak eliminates the need for glue, masking tape, or films.

Other features include:
Support for ABS, PLA, HIPS, PET+, Brick, Wood & Flexible (TPE) filaments
Protects build plate
Heat resistant and durable, reusable for many consecutive builds
Multiple material adhesion eliminates the need to change print surface

Tungsten Carbide Hot End - Precision Meets Durability
The Enterprise Bundle's new Tungsten Carbide hot end ships as a standard needle of the company's award winning G2 Extruder. The needle is machined to a tolerance of 25 microns which is less than the diameter of a human hair. Tungsten carbide has a Vickers hardness value of 1600 HV, ten times harder than mild steel which is in the 160 HV region. The new Tungsten Carbide needle's superior wear resistance significantly extends the G2s service life - reducing the need to replace the nozzle due to material extrusion wear, especially when printing abrasive materials such as carbon-fiber, and metal filled filaments.
