Another woman, who sustained 40 per cent burn injuries in a fire at an Ashulia match factory on November 22, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Tuesday night.
The deceased is identified as Mehera Khatun, 38.
She died around 10:30pm, said the DMCH resident surgeon Partha Sankar pal.
Earlier, four other burn-injured women died at the hospital on November 23, 24, 28 and 30.
Thirty female workers suffered burn injuries in the fire that broke out at a warehouse of ‘Colour Match BD’ at Jirabo Fulbagan in Ashulia.
Of them, 22 were later sent to the burn unit of the DMCH.
