'Dongri Ka Raja' actor to play the lead opposite Megha Gupta in a TV show

Gashmeer Mahajani seems to have become the toast of the town. After bagging the Best Debut (Male) award at the second edition of the Marathi Filmfare Awards for his power-packed performance in 'Carry On Maratha' and 'Deool Band', the actor is on cloud nine. Last seen in the film 'Dongri Ka Raja', Gashmeer has now been roped in to play the male lead in producer duo Kinnari and Jay Mehta's show for Life OK.He will play a forest officer.
As mentioned in our previous update, the story of the show revolves around a forest officer with Megha playing his wife. The birth of their daughter coincides with the birth of a tigress' cubs. This results in a great bond being formed between the couple and the tigress. However, the tigress goes berserk after her cubs are taken away from her. The storyline is the journey of the hero, who is torn between his duties and emotions.
When contacted, Gashmeer, who is the son of Marathi actor Ravindra Mahajani, refused to comment. "I am not at the liberty to speak about it at this moment," he said.
