Lennon trains out of Hudson’s gym and he credits his latest victory to the sparring work he has done with IBO International Super Middleweight Champion Renold Quinlan.
He spent six full rounds in the ring with Quinlan and was able to hold his own which boosted his confidence heading into the fight against Ramjam.
Lennon showed his strength in the fight against Ramjam and his trainer and father Gordon Lennon said he made a lot of contact.
“His punches were doing damage to Ben and it was clearly impacting him. After the fight Jordan didn’t look like he was touched while Ben had welts on the side of his face,” Lennon said.
The 19-year-old won the fight by decision and was the superior boxer.
