Jayesh Patel complains of double vision

Vadodara: Rape-accused founder of Parul University, Jayesh Patel, was taken to the SSG Hospital after he complained of vision problem in the Vadodara Central Jail on Tuesday.
Doctors at the hospital said that Patel is suffering from diplopia, which is commonly known as double vision.
“His MRI scan and other regular tests were done after he was brought to the eye ward. We discharged him in the evening since there is no facility of a neurophysician at the hospital.We have recommended that an expert opinion should be taken,” said a doctor, who attended him.
Patel has been chargesheeted for allegedly raping a 21-year-old college girl in June this year. He had recently applied for bail on medical grounds but the court rejected his plea.
