ALLAHABAD: The leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are leaving no stones unturned to woo voters. Apart from carrying out Parivartan yatra from all four directions in the state, the party plans to introduce as many as 403 digital raths for campaigning.
UP has 403 Assembly constituencies and party has plans to deploy one digital rath in each constituency to highlight the BJP-led Union government’s achievements and expose the misrule of the SP government in UP.
Each digital rath is equipped with LCD screen, along with speakers and mikes to connect with masses.
BJP leader Ashish Gupta told TOI that the digital raths are being dispatched to all assembly constituencies from Allahabad, Kanpur, Ghaziabad and Gorakhpur. These rath would be taking rounds of the Assembly constituency.
He added that as many as 20 raths were dispatched from Allahabad for 20 constituencies of Allahabad and neighbouring Kaushambi and Chitrakoot.
Another BJP leader said that through digital rath, the party is connecting with masses and apprising them about public welfare schemes being initiated by Modi government. It is a strong medium to expose the misrule of Samajwadi Party government, especially the deteriorating law and order problem.
The party leaders are also making efforts to woo voters with slogans ‘Na goonda raj, na bhrashtachaar, abki baar BJP sarkar (no goons, no corruption, this time BJP government)’ and ‘purna bahumat, sampurna vikas, Bhajapa par hai vishwas (majority mandate, complete development ... faith in BJP)’.
