GNDU officers’ assn elects office-bearers

AMRITSAR: A meeting of the newly elected Guru Nanak Dev University Officers’ Association unanimously elected Dr Rajesh Kalia as its president along with other office-bearers and executive members.

A meeting of the newly elected Guru Nanak Dev University Officers’ Association unanimously elected Dr Rajesh Kalia as its president along with other office-bearers and executive members. Prominent among the officer-bearers are Renu Puri, vice-president; Tirath Singh, secretary; HS Tina, joint secretary; Naresh Nandan, treasurer, besides the executive members.

The association also reiterated its support to the VC’s role in the meeting for managing the financial affairs of the university meticulously. They also thanked the vice-chancellor for coming up with the project of food courts in the university to satisfy the requirement of students and employees. The association also urged the vice-chancellor and Registrar to consider seniority-based promotions of officers that has been pending for long.
