FIFA 17 surprises cancer survivor with gesture

A little more than a year ago, 13 year-old Vancouver Whitecaps fan Kenton Doust was given some devastating news: Doctors had found three brain tumors in his brain.

Less than a year later, after 25 grueling sessions of chemotherapy, Doust was deemed "cancer free."

The young fan has spent the subsequent months being honored by his favorite team, and now, EA Sports is honoring the teenager for his bravery over the past year. The company added an update to FIFA 17, which featured Doust as a star striker.
