Woman ends life after spat with spouse over cash

Kanpur: A 25-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide after quarelling with her husband, who refused to take her to Ghaziabad due to cash crunch. She hanged herself from the ceiling of her room.
The incident took place at Labheda village in Amritpur area of Farrukhabad district. The police said Kuldeep, who works in a factory in Ghaziabad, had come to his native place about 20 days ago. He had deposited Rs 6,000 in the bank recently.He was planning to return to Ghaziabad on Saturday. His wife Lakshmi wanted to accompany him along with their four-month-old baby. Kuldeep refused, saying that he was running short of money.
On Sunday night, Lakshmi allegedly entered into a scuffle with Kuldeep over the issue.
