BHOPAL: Bad weather continued to play foul for flights scheduled to take off or land at Raja Bhoj airport on Monday. Mumbai-bound Jet Airways flight (9W 7083), which was supposed to land at city's airport at 7.25 am, was cancelled due to poor visibility.
Monday's was the third flight that was cancelled from Raja Bhoj airport over past three days. While Mumbai-bound flight 9W 7021 was cancelled on Sunday, Delhi-bound flight 9W 774 was cancelled on Saturday evening.
Fog gives way to clear sky: After two days of thick fog cover over the city that resulted in low visibility, citizens woke up to a clear sky on Monday. However, the day turned out to be colder because the mercury plummeted to 9.5 degrees Celsius as the fog vanished and winds blew across the city. Meanwhile, the weather office has forecast haze over the city for Tuesday. Office of the Bhopal circle of meteorological department said fog is also likely to cover the sky across the northern Madhya Pradesh.
