If there is one important point that “Chicago Fire” has driven at so far, it is that the biggest challenges that emergency response teams face have nothing to do with their jobs. Rather, they are with the struggles in their personal lives. As the show reaches its 100th episode, viewers get to see a heart-warming battle and a lot more drama.

Spoiler alert! This article contains “Chicago Fire” spoilers. Read on if you would like to know what happens next before the next episode airs.

Season 5 episode 8 of “Chicago Fire,” titled “One Hundred,” would show the audience how Lt. Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer) and Gabriela Dawson (Monica Raymund) will try to adopt Louie at some point. Later on, they will find out it is not that easy after all, as a major problem is going to throw them off their path. What that obstacle is has not yet been revealed but it looks like it’s pretty serious.

Things are also going to spin out of control in this episode. A guest character named Lieutenant Jeff Clarke (Jeff Hephner) will show up. He is described as a former firefighter who is studying to be a doctor. He will try to entice Lt. Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) with a very intriguing proposal, so viewers should expect a pivotal plot twist at this point.

Otis will get very excited and enthusiastic about his new bar business. This will lead to him get Hermann to throw a huge party to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Molly’s. While that looks like fun, some problems will arise.

Other spoilers say that the episode title is actually commemorative of “Chicago Fire’s” run on TV, since this season 5 episode 8 will be the show’s hundredth. That only means it will be packed with a lot of exciting action, especially for Casey and Dawson who are hoping to become Louie’s mom and dad through adoption.
