‘Timber Creek Lodge’: 5 crazy moments from the premiere of Bravo’s new reality show

Work hard and play harder seems to be the MO of the Timber Creek Lodge employees.

The Bravo reality show premiered Monday and should quickly garner a following of those who like to see employees behaving badly behind the scenes à la Vanderpump Rules and Below Deck.

Attractive employees from the U.S. and its neighbor to the north have come to Whistler, BC, to ensure the luxe ski resort surpasses guests’ #VacationGoals. But to paraphrase Beyoncé, of course sometimes things go down when there are eight employees sharing a staff house. Here are the wildest moments from the first episode.

1. Jenna and Mark hooked up

Thanks to night vision cameras – which never seem to get less creepy – we saw senior VIP mountain host Mark Milburn join his roommate, housekeeper/server Jenna Gillund in her bed for a make out session after a night of drinking and dancing.

The next morning Jenna insisted all they did was kiss because she “wasn’t that drunk,” and Mark tried to attribute his hickey to a backpack.

2. Mark got reprimanded

Though lodge manager Katy Ann Boyd told her employees the guest quarters were off limits to them, Mark decided to use the guest shower the night before a bachelor party arrived. When she heard the water running she knocked on the door and told him, “you’re not allowed to take showers in this house.” His reply? A nonchalant, “Okay, cool.” Obviously the manager who earned the nickname “Hurricane Katy” for taking charge did not think it was cool and she brought it up the next morning in their group meeting. “We get it. The place needs to be clean,” Mark said cutting her off.

“That was rude by the way,” Katy told him. Mark’s response? “No, it’s business,” he said. “It’s just being to the point so that we’re efficient.”

3. Jenna also got called out

Just call this possible pairing the new Bonnie and Clyde. When assistant lodge manager Jamie Murphy realized Jenna wasn’t working, he asked her to do the dishes. “I really don’t want to clean,” the housekeeper told her boss, and said she wanted to help with the slip-and-slide instead.

Jamie put her in her place telling her, “your princess doesn’t work on me,” but Katy wasn’t a fan of his management style.

“Jamie is stirring up tornadoes for absolutely no reason,” Katy said to the camera, “and he needs to just calm down.”

4. Jamie got in a fight with his boss

Katy and Jamie addressed their difference in management styles in a blow up at the close of the episode.  While Katy believes in trusting her employees to get the job done, Jamie is more hands-on.

“I feel like you’re overriding my management 100%,” Katy told Jamie, adding, “I feel like I’m being undermined by you.”

“I would love to take your orders,” Jamie told her, “but if I don’t get orders then I can’t follow them.” Oh, the shade.

Bottoms up.

5. A mountain host made an interesting outfit choice

When taking a bachelor party heli-skiing, Cynthia Barker, a VIP mountain host who gives us Adriana Lima vibes, skis onto the scene in an American flag bikini with her cheeks out.

“I’m more concerned with the safety,” Mark told the camera, “and there’s Cynthia who’s a little bit more about having fun. I think she was also just trying to get laid.”

Cynthia was also one of the brains behind the suggestion to get the guests to do a photo competition featuring their areas below the belt, which we’ll see more of next episode.

Timber Creek Lodge airs Monday at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo.
