Ahmedabad reports 74 dengue cases in one week

As many as 74 dengue cases have been registered in a single week ending November 30 in the city.  Taking the toll to 272 dengue cases in November or on an average 9 cases in a day, the cases are much higher than what was registered in the same month of last year. Till November 28, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation’s health department reported 198 dengue cases which was 191 cases during the same period of last year. Similarly, in entire year of 2015, the number of dengue cases registered was 2,165. However, this number has already reached 2,607 total cases this year till November 30.
