Gilas Pilipinas names pool for SEABA tournament

The Philippine national men's basketball team has named its pool of players for the 2017 Southeast Asian Basketball Association (SEABA) Championship in March 2017.

Included in the pool for Gilas Pilipinas are PBA veterans, cadet rookies, and a pair of college players.

PBA stars Terrence Romeo, JC Intal, Sonny Thoss, Dondon Hontiveros, Ranidel De Ocampo, and Gabe Norwood will be part of the pool.

The national team had earlier named cadets Jio Jalalon, Mike Tolomia, Mac Belo, Matthew Wright, Ponso Gotladera, Von Pessumal, Ed Daquioag, Russell Escoto, Roger Pogoy, Kevin Ferrer, Carl Bryan Cruz, and Almond Vosotros.

Additional names on the list include Meralco rookie Jonathan Grey and University of the Philippines standouts Paul Desiderio and Jett Manuel.
