Average salary in capital is more than UAH 8,000 - Kyiv City State Administration

In Kyiv, the average wage for nine months amounted to more than UAH 8,000.
First Deputy Chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration Hennady Plis said this at a briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"In Kyiv, the average wage for nine months amounted to UAH 8, 231, while it was UAH 4,989 thorough this country, so the salary in Kyiv was higher by 1,7 times than across the country," Plis said.
According to him, the consumer price index in the city of Kyiv has increased by 5.9%.
At the same time, he noted that no agency or company, which was financed from the local budget, had arrears of wages.
