The parliament which is having its winter session have seen many twists and turns since it started. The major point of debate have been off course demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes for which many political leaders have sought to achieve political brownie points. It seems that the opposition is hellbent to disrupt the proceedings of both the upper and lower house.
Using foul language inside the house is never encouraged and the person uttering it is taken seriously by the speaker of both houses. BJP leader and Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today took a jibe at Samajwadi Party (SP) leader and fello Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Agarwal by saying that whenever the SP took a decision it was equivlent to a hit wicket.
Naresh Agarwal in a scathing reply said that, BJP is resorting to “bhandgiri,” which Naqvi took strong objection to and called for expunction of the word used by Agarwal as it was ‘unparliamentary’.

Where the general view of the public is that they are not facing any hassle as far as standing in long queues before banks or ATM kiosks are concerned, political leaders including chief minister of Delhi and West Bengal, Arvind Kejriwal and Mamata Banerjee respectively even spearheaded a rally and gave the government a warning to rollback the decision of the government.
Despite the repeated call by the finance minister Arun Jaitley that the government is ready to debate all issues relating to demonetisation, it is beyond the understanding of anyone as to why the opposition is trying to disrupt proceedings of the house.
