Suriya postpones 'S3' release to avert clash with RamCharan's 'Dhruva'

It came to light recently that the release date for Suriya’s cop actioner ‘Singam 3’ aka ‘S3’ had been pushed back by a week. Instead of sticking to its initial December 16 release, the film will now hit the screens on December 23. Suriya has now confirmed these reports and has also revealed the reason for the delay.
The Kollywood hunk announced that the release date of ‘S3’ has been pushed back to avert a clash with Ram Charan’s ‘Dhruva’.He went on to say that the ‘Dhruva’ team is like a family to him, hence, on their request to change their release date, Suriya and co agreed without hesitation.

Interestingly, while ‘Dhruva’ has successfully avoided any clash with ‘S3’, the cop actioner will now be clashing with Jayam Ravi’s ‘Bogan’, which also hits theatres on December 23.
