NAGPUR: It was a disappointing day for the city shuttlers in the 30th Sub Junior National Badminton Championship at Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, on Sunday.
Second seed and hot favourite to win the title after the early ouster of top seed, Rohan Gurbani was surprised by sixth seed Priyanshu Rajawat in the U-15 boys singles quarter-final. The Madhya Pradesh shuttler Priyanshu defeated Rohan 21-16, 21-11 in 22 minutes.
